MyHappyDocs caters primarily to individuals and businesses, focusing on proofreading and editing letters, brochures, resumes, flyers, and more. Whether you need proofreading or more extensive editing, we’ve got you covered!


Proofreading v. Editing

We can catch those annoying typos – and a whole lot more! Depending on the document and circumstances, your needs might differ from project to project. If you’re creating something new, getting a ‘second set of eyes’ on everything takes it to the next level. However, if you’re updating an established document, you may just need a quick proof.

What’s the difference between editing and proofreading?

  • Editing is a comprehensive process that improves a document’s overall structure, style, and consistency. (New documents need thorough editing!)

  • Proofreading is the final stage before publication, addressing typos, punctuation errors, and formatting inconsistencies. (Every document needs this final check.)

Terms of Service

  • We accept work only from clients based in the United States.

  • Payments may be made via cash, check, or Zelle (540-760-6906).

  • We retain the right to decline any work that does not align with our standards, ethical guidelines, or expertise.

  • No academic papers or larger works (e.g. periodicals, books) will be accepted.

  • Sharing Your Information. We do not sell your information to third parties. However, we may share your information in the following cases: service providers (trusted third-party service providers for hosting and payment processing) and legal compliance if required by law or in response to a legal request.

  • Retaining Your Information. We retain your personal information and documents for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill legal obligations. Once no longer needed, your data will be securely deleted.
